With just 6 short eps this made me cry. Tissue-kun help me, let's cry together. It's open-ended, so I'll make my own happy ending. They'll have some drama, of course. The king will have to do "what's best for the kingdom." He'll put them in exile Rapunzel style: send them far away from everyone else, but still bring them essentials. The prince is still the prince, he reserves the right to live, comfortably and peacefully. I don't need others to use the potion (they said it didn't work on them) but they can learn to become even more beautiful inside, like the prince realized. So slowly people get curios enough to understand them. Then the potion starts to work on more people that lost their prejudice against the prince and knight looking different. The king allows them back into the kingdom, and have them married. They get together, and create a space to teach the new generation to not get carried away by prejudice. Like making a school that would give them education, including the concept of being kind and understanding of others. There, that's my headcanon.
