I remember reading this when it was first released. I was quite young, and liked the dynamic a lot. The FL was strong and brave, while the ML was calm and friendly. That's the image I had before. But I now realise it's quite a bland story. The FL is too hotheaded, somewhat naive and very impulsive. She didn't even clear up her name, and let others take advantage of her. It felt like the passion and fire of her character dimmed down through the story. While the ML is very manipulative, he seems to make decisions without talking it out with the FL. He also crosses his boundaries in this process sometimes. The overall story also felt very rushed, and the plot kept beating around the bush. I didn't see much development in their relationship either. I'm just left disappointed after having reread it ¯_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯
